About this tour
On this tour you will explore the Golden Circle and the South Coast, all the way to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.
Day one will start with a pickup at your hotel, hostel or guesthouse and then you will head off to explore the world famous Golden Circle. You will visit Þingvellir National Park, Geysir geothermal area and Gullfoss waterfall. After the Golden Circle you will continue on towards Vík village but you’ll spend the night just outside of it. On the way you will stop at Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Skógafoss and Reynisfjara beach. If the conditions allow for it, you will get a chance to go out and hunt for the northern lights in the evening.
Day two will take you further east and after breakfast at the hotel you will visit the dramatic black sand beach at Reynisfjara. After the beach you will travel through lava fields and desert sands to Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and floating icebergs. Finally, you’ll gear up for a visit to the amazing blue crystal caves of Vatnajökull glacier. Because this is a three-day tour the schedule is quite flexible so if the guide decides that it’s better to wait with the ice cave tour you can also do it on day three. Night 2 you will spend at a hotel near Skaftafell and, of course, if conditions allow for it you can make another attempt at seeing the northern lights.
Day three starts with breakfast, like the day before, and then will do a glacier hike with a certified glacier guide who will provide all the safety equipment needed and the necessary briefing. After the glacier hike you will head back toward Reykjavík but if your group missed something on the way east you can use this time to catch up. The exact plan for the day depends on the days before andt the weather conditions during the whole trip.
You will be back at your accommodation in Reykjavík between 20:00 and 23:00.

If you are traveling solo and you want to have a single room you have to pay the single room supplement. If you don’t pay the supplement, you will be sharing a room with a member of the same gender

If you are staying in an AirBnB apartment or a hotel that is not included in the pickup list, it’s best if you find the next approved hotel and book your pickup from there.
