Mugison Summer Concerts at Kassinn

I have a confession to make and I hope the boyfriend isn’t reading this because it involves my feelings towards another man. A man called Mugison. I have a major crush on him.

Mugison, þjóðleikhúsið

He’s handsome and everything, and he has this very sexy energy (and I don’t use the word sexy normally but that’s really what it is), but that’s not why I have a crush on him. I just really love his music. And have for many years. More years than I’ve known the boyfriends actually. Don’t worry, honey, I love you more!

Side note: I seem to have a thing for bearded men.

Although you can totally just listen to Mugison’s music on Spotify or buy one of his CDs the magic really happens when he plays live. Some musicians are just better at playing live than others and I’m never disappointed with him. I’ve seen him play (about a million times) with his band, his drummer is the best and I usually can’t take my eyes off of him actually, and alone and both were enjoyable. Which is why I’m so excited about what I’m going to tell you next!

Mugison Summer Concerts

Mugison will be playing live shows every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday this summer at a space called Kassinn behind the National Theater on Hverfisgata. It’s hour long and he’ll be playing some of his best songs in somewhat intimate surroundings. And the price is measly 3500 ISK.

There are shows geared towards tourists that we get invited to that I’m just not that excited about so trying to convince you guys to check it out just doesn’t seem right to me. I’m just so happy he came up with this because now I have something I actually like that I can tell all my guests to check out.

So do yourself a favor, get yourself a ticket to this show. You won’t regret it.
