Private Blue Lagoon Transfer
PARTNER TOUR – HANDPICKED ESPECIALLY FOR YOU

If you are looking for some extra comfort for your visit to the Blue Lagoon a private transfer might be exactly the thing you are looking for. Especially recommended for those who want to make good use of their limited time in Iceland.
Sometimes your time is very limited and you just don’t have any time to spare to wait for other people. If you just want to go straight from your hotel, and skip spending time on picking up other guests around town, to the Blue Lagoon then a private transfer is the way to go.
Prices are per vehicle, not per person.
If there are two of you traveling you book 1 transfer for 1-4 people
Approx 3 hours (additional time at the Blue Lagoon can be added)
Admission charges to the Blue Lagoon are not included. This tour is suitable for wheelchair users.
You can also book this transfer from Reykjavík. Just mention it in the Special Requests when you book and remember to add the address where you want to be picked up too.
The driver will pick you up at your accommodation in Reykjavík, drive with you to the Blue Lagoon, tell you about interesting places along the way and wait for you while you enjoy everything the lagoon has to offer. After your soak you can go straight from the lagoon back to your hotel or whatever location in town that suits you.
If you would like to stop in the Blue Lagoon on the way from Keflavík Aiport – please see Airport Transfer with additional stop at the Blue Lagoon
Add extra time at the Blue Lagoon
The standard stop at the lagoon is 90 minutes, giving you around an hour in the lagoon (depending on how long it takes you to get ready), but if you need more time that can be arranged too. Please see “Extras” to the right for more information.
This transfer can be booked for guests in wheelchairs and we haven’t encountered a wheelchair yet that could not be accommodated. Please mention in the Special Requests if you or someone traveling with you uses a wheelchair so the right car will be sent to pick you up.
Admission to the Blue Lagoon
Please note that the admission to the Blue Lagoon is not included in this transfer. Due to its popularity travelers are advised to book a ticket to the Blue Lagoon in advance as you can be turned away if the lagoon is full. The price for the lagoon varies depending on the package you choose – from simple admission to taking advantage of their executive lounge.
We recommend the premium package which includes admission to the lagoon, a bathrobe, slippers, towel, face mask and a drink of choice.
Comments from previous guests
Our party of six was met by Sig at the airport at midnight and transferred to our apartment in suburban Reykjavik. When the landlord was not immediately available Sig stayed with us and made some phone calls until we were safely inside. Two days later, Olli took us on a half-day trip to the Reykjanes Peninsula and the Blue Lagoon and then dropped us off in downtown Reykjavik as we requested. He was cheerful and informative throughout the trip. We thought the service was excellent, personalized and less expensive than the larger tours and enthusiastically recommend the services of Icelandic Taxi Tours.

“Just as planned, just as described!”
We booked with Icelandic Taxi Tours for an early morning airport pick-up after the red-eye from BOS. Just as arranged, we were picked up just outside of Customs and whisked away in a lovely private vehicle to our hotel in Reykjavik. We enjoyed the service so much, we booked with them again for the return. They even had resources to use a credit card right in the vehicle complete with printed receipt. I would highly recommend them!

“Great Service way more than expected - Added the personal touch”
We were a group of 8 and had prebooked to be picked up at the airport - taken to the Blue lagoon, where Sigrun (or was it Oli?) waited for us, and said we could have as long as we liked there. Then on the way home he took us on a scenic drive around Reykjavik which was great as it helped us to orientate ourselves. Then after this on to our hotel.
But the best bit was on the Sunday evening (pick up Monday am from our hotel at 4.15 am -yawn!) we got an email from Sigrun to say that our plane would be delayed, with an estimated departure 5 hours later than expected, and that he would keep us updated and arranged for Eythor to pick us up once the departure time had been confirmed and we were provided with his telephone details too. This was very reassuring, and also allowed us more sleep. Great service indeed.
